Photographs

Moments in time, captured to last a lot longer. Immediately engaging and direct, these pictures isolate the subjects from their reality into a world of their own. Black and white images going back fifty years sit beside more recent colour prints to provide a new view on what was actually there.

Communicating with simple lines, shapes and colours is the basis of graphic design. Often, reading between the lines can suggest a lot more. Tension, attraction, anger, unfairness, inequality and a range of other emotions are implicit in these artworks.
